died 6 Aug 1903 in Worcester at the Home Farm at age 69, paralysis and heart disease.
Parents – Davenport Augustus Toney, born January 1803 in Athol/Royalston. died 17 May 1846 in Fitchburg and Mary M. (Carrol) Williams, born about 1815 in Boston, MA and died 22 Feb 1877 in Worcester.
Brother – Henry Toney born abt 1833, sometime known as Henry Carrol

Grew up in Fitchburg

married Punkapoag Lucretia Manuel 29 Nov 1856 in Lowell, MA. She died 23 Nov 1864 of consumption. Three children Gertrude Matilda Toney born 11 Feb 1857 and died 11 Apr 1885 in Lowell, Francis born about 1858 and Amy born 28 Feb 1860 and died 20 May 1866 in Lowell. All children of Lucretia and Augustus born in Lowell

Gertrude’s death record names her grandparents as her parents. Husband was George F. Levy. Married on 19 Apr 1882 age 25. She used the maiden name Manuel.

Married Nipmuc Esther Jane Vickers on 15 Jun 1865 in Fitchburg, MA. Esther Jane and Augustus had at least 11 children including 3 sons named Frank (died as babies/young children).
